St. Louis, MO, September 19, 2024 — Telecommunications consulting firm, Leverage Broadband Strategies, welcomes partner Doug Maglothin back as President of its Strategic Growth Services division. Since February 2020, Maglothin served as both a consultant to and as CEO of Diamond State Networks in Arkansas, an electric cooperative-owned provider of middle mile services.
“Leverage continues to grow and to serve broadband providers all over the globe. I am looking forward to being hands-on in helping more of our clients succeed as they move ahead through this incredible season of funding and growth,” said Maglothin. “We have many extremely exciting projects to assist with and investments to make, so the timing could not be better. Leverage CEO and Founder, Cheryl Summers, has continued her leadership of the firm during Maglothin’s stint as DSN CEO. “Doug and I have a long history together starting in 2012 when he became a Leverage client. We are so proud of the growth that he was able to help our client to accomplish. But at the same time, we are excited to have him back as a part of our day-to-day operations,” Summers commented. “Doug is an agent for growth and Leverage is amazingly well-positioned to continue its upward momentum with him back in the mix.”

Additional changes to the Leverage organizational structure include the promotion of Tom Lasonde from Director of Implementation to VP of Operations and Kody Pinson from Director of Business Development to VP of Client Success. Lasonde will join Jeff Allinder who continues in his role as VP of Client Revenue Optimization in reporting to Summers. Pinson along with VP of Product, Trent Taylor, will join forces with Maglothin to lead Strategic Growth services.
