The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) requires certain actions on the part of broadband providers to maintain the providers’ safe harbor protection. This includes addressing allegations of copyright infringement with subscribers.

Leverage can serve as your DMCA Designated Agent required under the DMCA, then receive any alleged infringement notices and take the necessary action to send a letter template to any infringing subscribers.

Broadband providers offering a video product must file semi-annual copyright payments with the Copyright office. Leverage can assist you in determining the amount of your payment and file the necessary paperwork in March and August.

  • Leverage established a partnership with GLDS to work together with broadband providers utilizing the GLDS billing system.
  • GLDS provides the oversight and training on their software.
  • Leverage works with the broadband provider through launch and integration process to document business processes and to make informed decisions during the integration.

The Key makes quick work of programming payments, insures that your Accounts Payable group pays in a manner consistent with your contracts and provides monthly electronic reports to cable networks and broadcasters.
